Arts Council of Princeton Classes

August 13th-17th, 2018

102 Witherspoon Street, Princeton NJ 08542

Some of the most beautiful colors and designs come from our environment.  Nature can produce a plethora of unique shades, patterns and depictions.  Eco-printing is the process of using plants, flowers, leaves and other organic materials to create colors, arrangements and prints on fabric and paper.  It allows us to take plain textiles and up-cycle them into beautifully crafted pieces using foraged or salvaged plant material.  Campers will learn how to explore, use and repurpose various plant materials in ways that create wearable and functional art and home pieces.  Join us for this camp session and bring home hand-made, beautifully crafted and unique artwork dyed and inspired only with sustainable and natural materials.
